When we re-open for Easter 2008 all bedrooms will be en suite, decorated in a classic contemporary style, whilst also being sympathetic to Cartref’s Edwardian heritage.

Cartref Guest House is located in the picturesque and historic fishing village of Aberdovey (Aberdyfi) in a unique and quiet corner of the village, but still only a few minutes walk from the many restaurants, bars, shops or Aberdovey’s renowned golden sandy beach.

This is a friendly and relaxing place to stay and is well positioned for you to explore Wales including Cardigan Bay's coast as well as the beautiful mountains of the Snowdonia National Park.

Things To Do

There is plenty to do and see including the Tal-y-Llyn Steam Railway, Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT), and Corris Craft Centre. There are also numerous activities catered for in the area including walking, golfing, mountain biking, kite surfing, fishing, shooting, horse riding, birdwatching (RSPB reserves) or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
